Mardi Gras! Galveston 2019
The spirit of Mardi Gras occurs in several big cities in the Lone Star State. Lots of glitter, beads, masks, colourful feathers, and outrageous costumes create an unforgettable party atmosphere for the parades, balls, and concerts. Known also as "Fat Tuesday," this event is usually celebrated in February, right before Lent. The best Mardi Gras celebration in Texas and the 3rd biggest in the United States is the Galveston Mardi Gras. The celebrations include more than 300,000 attendees every year, around 30 concerts, more than 20 parades, lots of balcony parties, and elegant masked balls.
