Telluride Bluegrass Festival
The Telluride Bluegrass Festival is a weekend celebration of Americana roots music where artists are encouraged to push the limits of their genre. Collaborations between the best of the best are often the highlights of each year's festival.
Performers regularly say that Telluride is, "the most beautiful place I've ever played." We agree.
This is a week of uncommon musical riches: Main stage performances in Town Park throughout the day, intimate masters workshops on the Elks Park stage on Main Street in downtown, prestigious band and songwriting contests, late-night Nightgrass concerts at every indoor venue in town, and jam sessions on sidewalks and throughout the campgrounds.
The festival often coincides with the summer solstice, the longest day of the year and the beginning of summer. it's a magical time of sunlight and music when the high country of Colorado puts away its winter ski gear and grabs hiking boots, kayaks, low-back festival chairs, and journeys to the box canyon for the ultimate bluegrass music experience.
