Can you imagine staying in rock legend Jim Morrison's (The Doors) former home, known world wide amongst Doors fans as “Jim Morrison‘s last known U.S. residence” and featured in Doors biographies, documentaries, television, film, newspaper and magazine articles, and internet websites? Now you can!
The rock legend and poet resided there with his girlfriend, Pamela Courson, from 1970-1971. During this time, they left for Paris where he reportedly died on July 3, 1971. Jim's famous Rolling Stone interview was conducted here. A seance with 3 world renowned psychics was held here in 2004. Cheri Woods gave an exclusive interview to "Current Affair" regarding Jim's alleged faked death.
Live in Jim's private sanctuary where he wrote his poetry and played his music at this charming, traditionally elegant 6-unit villa estate built in 1932. Located in the heart of the action, this Historical apartment it is within walking distance to all types of dining and shopping. You can step out to the famed Sunset Strip for the exciting night life where you will rub shoulders with the stars. West Hollywood is wedged between Hollywood and Beverly Hills, and only minutes to the beach communities & airport. It is the location of choice for entertainment industry luminaries.
FREE TOUR FOR OUR GUESTS! You will be given a tour brochure which provides the history on the building and shares never before revealed anecdotes from when Jim and Pam lived there, so you can take a self-guided tour in and around the property. (Cost to visitors is $10 cash per person.)
This 2nd story apartment has been lovingly keep it in its original condition, restored to reflect the life and times of Jim and Pam in the early 70's and furnished in a style appropriate to that period to look like when they lived there, in order to keep their memory alive. If you are looking for a place with all the modern luxuries and conveniences, this is not it! But if you want the Old Hollywood Golden Era architecture mixed with the days of rock 'n roll experience of a lifetime, this is it!

* No lease required. $3000 mo/$1000 wk/$200 night up to 8 guests
(Excluding blackout and premium dates which occur annually on week surrounding July 3rd and December 8th.) Rates are in US $ and are subject to change without notice.

* $50 non-refundable cleaning fee required

MOVE-IN:
* Responsible party is required to provide one form of ID: drivers license, ID card, or passport and sign rental agreement upon move-in
* If security deposit and cleaning fee are not paid, you will not be able to move in and you will forfeit your non-refundable reservation fee.
MOVE-OUT:
* Security deposit is returned provided there are no missing/damaged items, keys are returned, and you have checked out by the deadline.
* Responsible party is held legally responsible for cost of damaged/missing items above amount of security deposit, including $100 for locksmith services for any unreturned keys. If payment is not received within 10 days, legal action will be taken.
HOUSE RULES:
* Smoking must be restricted to outdoor areas
* No unauthorized guests allowed on property or inside unit
* Will consider a pet (certain breed restrictions)

LEGAL DISCLOSURE: Renter understands that terms of rental are exclusively as agreed upon in the rental agreement and/or reservation request. Renter agrees to follow all rules set by owner/management, including local city ordinance laws. Renter agrees that their occupancy is only temporary, for the specific period of time that renter has paid for in advance and renter and owner/management have agreed upon. Renter understands unit must be vacated by the deadline date, or renter will be considered a “trespasser” and legal action will be taken. Renter may extend their stay only if agreed upon by owner/management and upon providing advance payment for extended period of stay. Owner/management reserves the right to refuse or terminate rental with no advance notice and no refund in the event guest(s) become disruptive, unruly, problematic, demanding, violent or threatening to others. Renter holds owner/management harmless against any legal actions.
