Les Gites Fleuris is a family holiday in Perigord/Dordogne Region and stay in a traditional Stone Farmhouse with a breathtaking valley view. Les Gites Fleuris is in the idyllic Dordogne Countryside, on a quiet single lane road, in a hamlet of 18th century stone perigordian farmhouses. The Pool, Jacuzzi, and sundeck are situated in the tranquil orchard, surrounded by grass, trees and flowers. Only 2 km is the dramatic Chateau de Hautefort! A magnificent 17th C Chateau that rivals those in the Loire Valley. Nearby are prehistoric sites, medieval villages, and 1001 castles. After a day of touring the sites, relax and enjoy the serene valley views from your terrace, pool, or Jacuzzi! Open year round with central heat and fireplace.
La Petite Rose house is a romantic cottage, a charming restored traditional 18th c. stone 1 bedroom home with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room with big fireplace, TV with DVD player, Wifi, CD player. The bedroom has large windows overlooking your terrace and the gardens. The bathroom is ensuite with toilet, shower, sink. There is a sofa sleeper in the living room for up to 2 children.
Relaxation is easy, either poolside on the sundeck, in the Jacuzzi, or on a hammock; or enjoy a peaceful stroll of the property acreage of fruit and walnut trees. Enjoy the wonderful view while playing: ping-pong, badminton/volleyball, croquet, swinging on the swing set, or in the children’s raised fort with climbing wall. An indoor games room will keep all the family entertained with games, toys, ping pong, and Disney video cassettes.
There is a central laundry room with washing machines and dryers which you can use at no extra charge.

Hautefort is a great bicycling and walking area with rolling hillsides and lovely forest and valley views. All services are within walking distance: 1 km to boulangerie, grocery store, and bank. 2 km to tabac, post office, and the office of tourism. 2.5km to a swimming lake.
Perigord is THE place to go if you love truffles and foie gras. This little corner of Southwest France is home to the black truffle, one of the most famous and expensive luxury foods of France. (Truffle Markets are open in Winter!) It is also the land of foie gras-- that typical French delicacy made from fattened goose or duck liver, along with other Canard specialty dishes. We have many good restaurants in the area. The wine regions of Bergerac and Bordeaux are only 1 hour to 1.5 hours away.
Lascaux and many famous tourist sites: grottes (caves), Troglodyte sites, Bastille towns, Castles, and old villages are within a 1-hour radius. At 2 minutes is the Chateau de Hautefort, at 5 minutes is the Grotte de Tourtoirac-a beautiful cave with magnificent formations. Valley’s with castles where one can easily imagine bandits, knights in armor and the primitive life of the peasants.
Many sporting activities in the area: basketball, tennis, soccer, volleyball, bocce, canoeing, fishing, etc...
