Confirmation and booking: Your booking will be confirmed upon return of a completed booking form together with payment of the deposit.  We will keep your tentative booking for two weeks only.  After this time if no deposit has been received, the booking will be reopened.

The rental week starts from Saturday 15.00 till Saturday 11.00. It is possible to book “Pistoulet” for a few days or start the week on a different day but this is available only during lower seasons.

Deposit, final payment and bond: Your booking will be secure upon payment of a 30 % deposit in Euros. The remainder of the rent will need to be finalised upon arrival. A 250 Euro bond will also need to be paid on arrival.

Refund of the bond: The bond will be refunded on the day of departure after inspection of “Pistoulet”

Discounts:  A weekly discount applies for longer stays but doesn’t include the period of July and August. (Minimum of 4 weeks stay for discount)

Cancellations: In the event of cancellations or part cancellation of a booking, any monies paid toward the booking shall not be returned or transferred to any remaining weeks not cancelled, either in part or in full, unless the time concerned is re-booked and fully paid for by a new client.

If there were to be any refund, a fee of 50 Euro will be charged for administration costs and transfer fees.

Travel Insurance: We strongly advise that you take early travel insurance that will cover you for any unavoidable cancellation, personal and public liability.

Water, gas and electricity. Water and gas are included in your rental.  A weekly allowance of 180 kilowatts of electricity is included in your weekly rental.  Any extra kilowatts, after the weekly allowance, must be paid upon departure.  A reading of the metre box will be done before your arrival and departure. A set rate will apply per kilowatt.  The payment will need to be finalised upon departure and paid in full in Euros to the manager or it will be deducted from your bond.

Cleaning: The lessee agrees that the premises shall be left clean and tidy. On the day of departure the house will be restored to the same state and condition as it was on the day of arrival.  You may arrange in advance to have a cleaning service.  In this case 2 weeks notice needs to be given and the cost of the cleaning must be paid in Euros on departure. The cost of cleaning the cottage is 70 Euros.  Extra charges could apply if the cottage were to be left in an unreasonable state.

Extra guests: The lessee agrees to inform us of any extra persons or guests staying in the premises and not previously mentioned in the booking. The cottage will sleep 6 people, plus a baby in a cot if organised.

Liabilities: The use of the accommodation at “Pistoulet” and all the facilities provided are entirely the responsibility of the person booking the accommodation (the lessee).  The name of the lessee needs to appear on the booking form in full. The lessee will be responsible and liable for any damage that occurs during the stay.

The owners, Patrick & Robyn Arrieula, shall not be liable for any damage or injuries to any persons entering or belongings of the lessee, friends, guests or visitors.

The lessee agrees to advise family, friends or visitors of the conditions attached with the rental of “Pistoulet”.  It is the responsibility of the lessee that everyone on the premises behaves in a normal and responsible manner.

The lessee agrees to exercise all reasonable care with regard to the premises and its contents as well as the outside of the premises.  Should any damage be done to the property or its contents please inform the owner or the manager.  If the damage is not that of normal wear and tear due to normal use, the lessee shall replace the item or pay the cost of replacement or repair.  The same applies for any items belonging to the premises that may go missing during your stay.

If any costs of replacement or damage are not paid immediately upon departure the costs will be deducted from the bond. A detailed receipt will be sent to the lessee as proof of repair or replacement. 

It is the responsibility of the lessee to make sure the cottage is always locked and secure against any intruders.

Please note; if any beds or furniture are soiled or damaged beyond restoration, the items will be replaced and the cost deducted from your bond.

Motor cars: No responsibility can be taken for any loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents inside or outside the property.

Complaints: Any complaints regarding “ Pistoulet” should be sent to our office in writing within 2 weeks of your stay.  We will endeavour to look at your complaint in an honest and fair way.

Animals: No animals or pets are to be kept on the property at any time.
