Aloha, Haiku Plantation Inn is a circa 1870's colonial plantation home located in the lush tropical destination of Maui, Hawaii.   The home is one of Maui's oldest and dearest treasures and sits on two acres among century old trees and gardens.  Guest rooms all have private bathrooms, full amenities of bath products, hair dryers, irons, home made guest soaps, comfy beds, fluffy white towels and fresh filtered water. 

The guest kitchenette includes: microwave, electric tea kettle and full tea bar with fresh herbal teas & honey, coffee maker and coffee, toaster and toaster oven and fridge.  Our large living room contains the flat screen TV, dvd player and dvds, cd player with music library, board games, reading library complete with everything from novels to local history and current guide books and tour cds for your use on day trips.   

Breakfast is served daily:  full continental including a variety of fruits daily, fresh baked goods, granola cereals, yogurt parfaits, and additional treats with coffee, tea and juice all served at the table along with great conversation.  

Gardens and grounds are over 100 years old with trees and flowering shrubs including giant Palms, Norfolk Pines and a Mango tree over 150 years old.  One of Maui's best kept secret gardens is located here on property where guests may find their private place to sit and relax or take a warm dip in the outdoor hot tub under the sky and stars at night.

Truly one of Maui's hidden gems, the Haiku Plantation Inn brings guests back to the golden era of plantation lifestyle with elegance and yet a homey atmosphere of days gone by... here in Maui and Hawaii.  You can even learn how to make a lei, make homemade soaps or take a hula lesson from a family friend.  Massage and wellness services are also available. 

It is a step away from the resorts and bustle of busy Maui, yet close enough to drive anywhere within a few minutes.  Walk to town within a couple blocks for fabulous restaurant selections from local food, Fresh cuisine, Bistro to raw foods and vegan.  Haiku has something to offer everyone and our marketplace is a fun place to shop for souvenirs or spend a bit of cash returning help to the community through our local thrift shop for the keiki in foster care.  Haiku is truly a community and not a resort destination and is the image of what Hawaii was years ago, when things were simple and clean.. which still can be found yet today here in the country and North Shore of Maui.
