It's time to kick off your shoes, relax and get away from everyday. And The Pelican's Elbow in Destin is the vacation home to help you do just that. It has everything you need for that relaxing week at the seashore, including a large private swimming pool and patio - great for morning coffee instead of a morning commute.
Don't be crammed into a cramped condo. This beautiful home with its nautical decor, largest in the neighborhood, is perfect for large families or groups. You have room to stretch out (2020 square feet), with a large living room, four bedrooms, two baths, a spacious family room, full kitchen and full laundry room.
And The Pelican is pet friendly, so you can enjoy having your pet accompany you on vacation.
The large master bedroom features a king size bed, TV/VCR/DVD, and private bath. The Kahuna and Palm bedrooms both have queen beds, TV/VCR and alarm clocks just in case you don't want to sleep in some morning. The Twin bedroom features two twin beds and TV/VCR. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan. There are two queen sleeper sofas in separate living/family rooms.

Destin is consistently rated as one of the top ten beach locations in the country. The major feature here is miles and miles of beautiful white sand beaches. Destin is a family-oriented destination.
There are all sorts of water sports available - surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, jet skiing. You can go on an afternoon cruise, a dolphin watching cruise, a dinner cruise. You can rent pontoon boats and other boats for boating on the bay or the ocean. There are a couple of locations not far away where you can go on a "swim with the dolphins" cruise.
Destin has a water park and a kiddie amusement park, called The Track, which has go-carts and water rides for kids. There is a marine park in nearby Fort Walton Beach that has dolphin and other animal shows. It's not a big one like Sea World, but is nice for kids. There are also a couple of museums around and a zoo not too far away.
And Destin has a dozen fine golf courses available to the public.
