Playas del Coco is easy to access. From Liberia, take the paved route Sardinal-Playas del Coco, a distance of 35 kms
Playa del Coco has quite an infrastructure: Many Hotels, Casino, Discos and Restaurants and places to shop. This is the most accessible and and frequently visited beach in Guanacaste Province.
The scenery consists of the horseshoe-shaped Coco Bay and steep hills and cliffs. It is a good place to have fun but not to rest.
The main attractions are the tourist facilities and hotels and the sun, which shines longer and more brightly here than anywhere else in Costa Rica. In this regard it is worth mentioning, that 16th of April and 28th of August are days when there is the greatest concentration of solar energy per area-unit. It is therefore unwise to sunbath near high noon (11-12). In a Country like Costa Rica, due to the angle of the sun over the horizon, it is best to sunbathe in the morning (8:30-10:00) or in the afternoon (2:00-5:30).
The view from the Bay includes Pelonas Islands, Cacique Point to the northwest and Centinela Point. Other attractions are the near beaches of Hermosa, Ocotal and Panamá.
Green Forest studios is a brand new community finished in September 2006 and open for rentals.

Any reservation obtained under false pretence and not adhering to minimum age and supervision requirements is subject to immediate eviction without refund or compensation.
We reserve the right to substitute comparable accommodations without notice or liability should the reserved unit be out of order or not available for any reason. When comparable accommodations are not available, renter will have the option of selecting from available properties at the published rate or receiving a complete refund of the reservation deposit and all pre paid rent.
Pet Policy
We love pets as much as anyone; however, pets are allowed only in specifically identified pet friendly properties and with applicable non refundable pet fees. Pets are not allowed in any property not specifically identified as pet friendly. A pet or evidence of a pet found on premises at any non pet friendly property will cause forfeiture of entire rent and deposit and immediate tenant eviction.
Bed linens, blankets, pillows and towels are provided, along with a starter supply of soap and bathroom tissue. Daily linen service is not offered at this time, except at a few specified properties.
All rental properties are equipped with water heater and air conditioning, microwave, coffee maker and toaster and cable TV unless noted otherwise. Because the properties are privately owned, decor, style, colour schemes and furnishings will vary. There are no guarantees that the standards provided by the owner are compatible with those of the guest. Furnishings are subject to change without notice. No refunds will be given for any appliance or equipment malfunction. We will make every effort to repair or replace as soon as possible during your stay.
Every effort is made to maintain the accommodations in good repair. All repairs will be handled as quickly as possible. No refunds will be provided due to inoperable appliances or common area pools, hot tubs, elevators or any other common area amenities, infrastructure or equipment.
Keys must be picked up and returned to the Tropical Felgate check-in location. A $25 charge will be assessed for each key not returned to Tropical Felgate. A service fee of $25.00 during normal business hours and $50.00 after 5:00 PM will be immediately charged to your account if a key is lost or should Tropical Felgate be called to unlock a unit due to a guest being locked out. The guest is liable for incurred expenses should it become necessary to contact a locksmith.
Most condominium associations allow one vehicle per unit. Condominiums and most homes prohibit boats, trailers, jet skis and motor homes. Please consult your reservation agent should you wish to bring any of these type vehicles. Any vehicle not displaying required parking passes will be subject to being towed by the Building Owners Association, at vehicle owners’ expense.
Using outdoor grills is prohibited on decks, porches, and balconies of all condominiums and beach houses and duplexes. Most condo buildings, duplexes and houses have BBQ areas.
Inspection/Showing of Units for Sale
We reserve the right to enter rental premises at any time for the purpose of inspection, repair, or other management requirements. In the event that the property you are renting is on the market for sale, we may need to show the property during your visit. We will make every effort to schedule the showing at a convenient time. Plays del Coco is the best known for it's sports fishing , surfing, scuba diving and snorkelling.
Playas del Coco is the largest village in Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. Originally known as the main Costa Rica hub for surfers with places like Ollie’s Point and Witches Rock within easy reach, this busy beach is a prime scuba diving spot, with many tour and diving companies set up here. Social life is very active and dining and nightlife are superb.
