<p>Situated in the old centre of the picturesque town Monschau, you find this well furnished holiday house (approx. 298m2). The house is close to the market with its pleasant terraces, where it is good to abide!<br /> Monschau is idyllic situated 450m high, in the winding dale of the Laufen. Places of interest, which surely needs to be seen are the 18 century Red house, the mustard mills, the glass works and the Au-cloister with its exhibitions. With the tourist train, you will discover next to the town the 13th century citadel, which overlooks the town and its surrounding. <br /> Then there is a visit to the town Aken (38 km), the Hoge Venen (6 km), water sport on the lake (15 km) and Katherberg with its Eifeldom is surely recommended. <br /> And the children? They can enjoy a dive in the swimming pool (slide of 70m) or a fast trip on the long toboggan slide of the Eifel (length: 750m). In the winter are the beautiful ski slopes in Rohren (5 km) or in the Belgium Ardennes (30 km) the skiing is surely worth it.</p>

The homeowners have already had much experience in the renovation of holiday homes and know exactly what holiday guests are looking for. <br /> Monschau, in the North Eifel, is a romantic half timbered village with historic old town, offering its visitors many options. In the town itself you can visit the Red House, the Felsenkeller brewery museum and the Glass Studio. If you want to save your feet for beautiful walks through the fen landscape, use the Monschau Municipal Train. You will reach many of the town sights without a car.<br /> The Bishopric city of Aachen, the Eifel National Park and the many surrounding villages in the impressive landscape are worth more than one visit.<br /> The summer alpine slide, the mini golf course (both in Rohren) and the Rail Biking (In Kalterherbeg) are favourites with children.</p>

The village is in the middle of the Eifel National Park and just 15 km from the picturesque town of Monschau. <br /> <br /> The holiday home has a large enclosed garden. The home is in a very quiet location. It is the perfect base for exploring the Eifel region. There are plenty of attractions within a 15 km radius. These include Lake Rursee and the cities of Blankenheim, Schleiden, Hellenthal and Monschau. <br /> <br /> The historic city of Aachen is 38 km away and is highly recommended. The Hohes Venn (High Fens) are 15 km away. The village of Kalterherberg with its historic Eifeldom Church is a ten minute drive from Monschau.<br /> <br /> Children can enjoy a fast ride on the longest toboggan run in the Eifel. You'll find something for everyone here.</p>
